Swiss Pear wood from a single tree that grew in Northeast Ohio. Drawers sides, back, and bottoms are sweetly fragrant, quartersawn, Western White Cedar. Even the hand carved drawer pulls and pegs to hold the precise handcut joinery are from a dark/red section of the same tree’s wood. Handcrafted joinery construction with no glue or metal fasteners of any kinds. A one of a kind masterpiece.

Swiss Pear wood from a single tree that grew in Northeast Ohio. Drawers sides, back, and bottoms are sweetly fragrant, quartersawn, Western White Cedar.

  • No metal fasteners of any kind.

  • Hand carved drawer pulls.

  • Hand cut dovetails and glueless pegged mortise and tenon joinery.

  • Hand planed finish – glass smooth, no sand paper

  • Natural rubbed oil finish

  • All of the Swiss Pear came for a single tree, a particularly dark/red section was use to fashion the drawer pulls as well as the pegs.
